Biography: Born and raised in
Holyoke,
Jack is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Western New
England College School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review. Jack
also received a Certificate from the Massachusetts Commission Against
Discrimination as a trainer of discrimination, harassment and
diversity, and received a Certificate from the Bar Association as a
mediator. His areas of practice include
business and corporate law, real estate development, estate law, with a
concentration in negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Jack also is a lecturer of business law for the
University of
Massachusetts and a lecturer of management law for Lorman Business Services.
Jack
is current or past President of the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary
Club, the Saint Patrick?s Committee and the Children?s Museum. He
is also a recipient of the George E. O?Connell Award for distinguished
service, the Louis F. Oldershaw Community Service Award, as well as a
Special Service Award from the Northeast Public Power Association. Jack
serves or has served as a board member of the Hampden County Bar
Association, United Way, YMCA, Day Nursery, and has volunteered for
Providence Hospital, Holyoke Hospital, Mount Saint Vincent, Loomis
House Retirement Communities and the Heritage Park Merry-Go-Round. Jack resides in
Holyoke with his family.
